*Overview* We are currently looking for an experienced residential technician to join our team. The ideal candidate would have some experience installing and servicing HVAC equipment including fireplaces Hometown Heating and Cooling was established in 2009 and has steadily grown into a 10 person team. We pride ourselves in the quality of work and high customer service we continue to deliver as the majority of our business comes from return business, referrals and online reviews. We are based out of Ingersoll and London but regularly service Woodstock, St Thomas and Port Stanley. Being a small town company word of mouth is extremely important. All of our employees know that its about getting the job done RIGHT, not just done We are looking for the best and brightest who always take pride in there workmanship! *Responsibilities* * Install new HVAC systems and components according to specifications. * Perform routine maintenance on heating and cooling systems to ensure proper functionality. * Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues using schematics and mechanical knowledge. * Repair or replace defective parts, including motors, compressors, and electrical components. * Weld components as necessary for system repairs or installations. * Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and maintenance performed. * Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs. * Collaborate with team members to build efficient systems that meet industry standards. *Requirements* * Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role. * Strong mechanical knowledge of HVAC systems, appliances, and plumbing. * Ability to read and interpret schematics related to HVAC systems. * Proficient in welding techniques applicable to HVAC repairs. * Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. * Valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites. * Relevant certifications in HVAC technology are preferred but not mandatory.
