*We're Hiring ? Experienced Third-Party Collections Representative* *Location:* Yonge & Sheppard, Toronto, ON *Salary:* $50,000?$60,000 (based on experience) + Commission + Benefits *Join Canada Legal Referral Inc.* Canada Legal Referral Inc. is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Third-Party Collections Representative to join our team. We want a motivated, confident, results-driven professional with a strong background in commercial debt collection and solid knowledge of Ontario collection law. Experience in legal collections or the construction industry is a strong plus. *Experience Required* * Minimum 3 years of commercial debt collection experience; *or* * Minimum 3 years of paralegal experience with collections, Small Claims Court, or debt recovery matters *Qualifications* * Strong knowledge of the Collection and Debt Settlement Services Act (Ontario) and related legislation * Strong understanding of the Ontario Small Claims Court process * Knowledge of the Ontario Construction Act is a strong asset * Experience handling large commercial accounts and high-value outstanding balances * Understanding of construction-related collections ? holdbacks, liens, trust provisions ? is an asset * Excellent negotiation, communication, and conflict-resolution skills * Ability to manage a high-volume portfolio while maintaining professionalism and compliance * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail *Key Responsibilities* * Contact debtor businesses by phone and email to recover outstanding commercial accounts * Negotiate payment arrangements and settlement agreements * Ensure compliance with Ontario debt collection legislation and company policy * Manage legal collection files and construction industry collection matters * Maintain detailed, accurate collection notes and account records * Provide clients with regular updates on recovery efforts and account status *What We Offer* * Competitive salary ($50,000?$60,000), based on experience * Commission and performance-based incentives * Comprehensive benefits package * Supportive, professional team environment * Exposure to commercial, legal, and construction industry collection files Attention: jdemurtas@canlegal.net We thank all applicants for their interest; only candidates with relevant commercial debt collection or paralegal experience will be contacted for an interview.
