*About the Role* GNK Holdings, supporting Galleria Supermarket and Korea Food Trading, is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our Accounting team. This position will oversee accounting and month-end/year-end closing operations for multiple subsidiaries. Primary responsibilities include reviewing accounting team deliverables, managing financial reporting, and handling tax compliance as well as external audits. *Key Responsibilities* * Prepare and present financial statements * Manage and review AR/AP and general accounting operations across multiple subsidiaries * Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes * Review General Ledger and oversee journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations * Review bank and credit card reconciliations * Review sales, inventory, and major Balance Sheet accounts * Manage GST/HST filings and maintain supporting tax documentation * Prepare supporting documents for external audits and coordinate with external auditors * Communicate with internal departments, external CPA firms, financial institutions, and relevant authorities as required * Improve accounting processes and manage internal controls *Qualifications* * Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred * Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, with team management/supervisory experience preferred * Prior accounting experience in the Retail/Wholesale industry preferred * Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel * Experience with external audits and GST/HST compliance preferred * Must be legally eligible to work in Canada *Working Conditions* * Location: 8500 Keele St. Vaughan ON L4K2A6 * Work schedule: 9:00AM - 5:30 PM * 3 month probationary period applies *Compensation & Benefits* * Salary: Commensurate with experience and qualifications * CPP, EI, and WSIB / Optional Group Insurance * Employee discount, meal allowance, bereavement and special occasion support, employee club/activity support in accordance with company policy * Fuel allowance and other benefits in accordance with company policy *How to Apply* Please submit your resume in English or Korean to: banking.gnk@koreafood.ca We thank all applicants for their interest.
