*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Chiropodist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide expert foot and ankle care, focusing on diagnosing, treating, and preventing a wide range of podiatric conditions. Your expertise will help improve patients? mobility, alleviate pain, and enhance their overall quality of life. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced clinical environment where patient care and research intersect to deliver innovative treatment solutions. *Responsibilities* * Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients? foot and ankle health, including medical history review and physical examinations. * Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient?s needs, incorporating both medical and rehabilitative strategies. * Administer treatments such as wound care, medication management, orthotic fitting, and minor surgical procedures when necessary. * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, especially in acute care settings or hospital environments. * Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions using electronic health records systems like Epic or Cerner. * Collect and analyze data related to patient outcomes to support ongoing research initiatives and improve clinical practices. * Educate patients on foot health, injury prevention, and post-treatment care to promote long-term wellness. *Qualifications* * Proven experience working in hospital settings with a strong understanding of acute care procedures. * Prior experience in pain management and pediatrics is highly desirable. * Knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, and wound care protocols. * Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Epic or Cerner is preferred. * Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional patient care with empathy and professionalism. * Strong background in research methodologies related to podiatric medicine is a plus. * Experience working in medical offices or home care environments is advantageous.
