*Position Summary* The Logistics Coordinator plans and coordinates the safe, accurate and timely movement of materials and fabricated products between vendors, CCS facilities, off-site storage locations and project sites. The role supports production and field operations by establishing delivery priorities, dispatching CCS delivery resources, maintaining reliable inventory records, and ensuring shipments are complete, properly documented and ready for transport. *Key ResponsibilitiesDelivery Planning and Daily Dispatch* · Review job files, schedules and project requirements to determine product delivery dates, priorities and load sequence. · Prepare and issue daily shipping lists, delivery instructions and priorities for CCS delivery drivers. · Provide daily direction and scheduling for CCS delivery services, adjusting routes and priorities when jobsite or production requirements change. · Schedule material pickups from vendors and off-site storage locations, and coordinate material transfers to the shop for the fabrication department as required. · When required, deliver materials to project sites or other locations using a CCS truck in accordance with company policies and safe-driving requirements. *Vendor, Project and Site Coordination* · Communicate proactively with vendors, site superintendents, project managers, shop personnel and drivers to confirm material readiness, site access, delivery windows and special handling requirements. · Coordinate and execute material deliveries, including confirming pickup details, site contacts, delivery timing, documentation and proof of delivery. *Shipping Verification and Product Readiness* · Review packing slips, purchase documentation and shipping lists to confirm item descriptions, quantities, job allocation and delivery destination. · Complete a final pre-shipment inspection of fabricated products for quantity, identification, visible damage, packaging and general readiness for transport. · Maintain accurate delivery, pickup and discrepancy records, and ensure signed documentation is returned and filed promptly. *Inventory and Material Control* · Track and maintain CCS inventory records. · Perform routine inventory counts, investigate variances and update records following receipts, transfers, issues and returns. · Oversee the organization, identification and condition of materials stored in the shop and yard. · Coordinate receipt, staging, storage and movement of materials to support fabrication and field requirements while avoiding congestion or material damage. · Monitor stock levels and communicate replenishment needs to the appropriate purchasing or management contact. *Safety, Housekeeping and Equipment* · Promote safe loading, unloading, material handling and load-securement practices in accordance with CCS procedures and applicable requirements. · Maintain orderly shipping, receiving, shop and yard storage areas and promptly address unsafe or obstructed conditions. · Complete routine pre-use inspections of assigned vehicles or material-handling equipment and report defects immediately. *Additional Information:* * Must own CSA-approved steel-toed safety boots. * Punctuality and reliability are essential. * Work performed in-person at our manufacturing facility located in North-West Edmonton. *Working Conditions:* * Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM - 4:30PM * Friday: 7:00AM - 3:30PM * Occasional overtime may be required. * Exposure to frequent loud noises inside the manufacturing facility. * Fast-paced environment requiring strong attention to detail.
