Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Apartment/condominium complex. Tasks: Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs. Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse. Empty trash cans and other waste containers. Wash windows, interior walls and ceilings. Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs. Perform safety and security checks. Show apartments and offices to prospective tenants. Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens. Work with minimal supervision. Area of work experience: Cleaning. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Personal suitability: Dependability. Flexibility. Experience: 1 to less than 7 months.
