Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Cold/refrigerated. Clean. Noisy. Work setting: Meat processing and/or packing plant/establishment. Tasks: Train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies. Prepare production and other reports. Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule (and possibly review) activities of workers. Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other work units. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Safe quality foods (SQF) Certificate. First Aid Certificate. Area of work experience: Quality assurance or control. Regulations knowledge: CIP (Cleaning In Place) and SIP (Sanitizing in Place) Systems. Knowledge of labour relations. Knowledge of preventive maintenance of machinery and equipment. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently. Fast-paced environment. Handling heavy loads. Attention to detail. Work under pressure. Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Safety glasses/goggles.
