Your primary focus will be to ensure the well-being of each dog while delivering outstanding customer service to their owners. This position is ideal for individuals who love animals and enjoy spending time outdoors. *Responsibilities* * Walk dogs of various sizes and temperaments, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times. * Follow specific instructions from pet owners regarding any special needs of the dogs. * Maintain a positive and friendly relationship with pet owners, providing updates on their dog's behavior during walks. * Ensure that all dogs are leashed properly and are under control at all times during walks. * Clean up after dogs during walks to maintain a clean environment. * Communication is key * Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while walking dogs in various environments. *Skills* * Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners. * Experience with handling dogs of different breeds and sizes is preferred but not mandatory. * Ability to remain calm and composed in various situations, especially when dealing with unpredictable dog behavior. * Excellent time management skills to ensure timely walks for multiple clients. * A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their well-being. * Physical stamina to walk for extended periods and handle multiple dogs at once. This position is great for someone looking to work 10-4pm and can commit to 1 year. *Must be:* Reliable- Clients expect consistency with their walkers. Trustworthy and Honest- This is key to success with our company Responsible- Caring for dogs is not just a simple walk in the park. We expect our walkers to act responsibly when on the job. Communication- Is KEY! Our days are very go go go and we expect a strong line of communication throughout the day. Social media- All our walkers MUST be proficient with Facebook & Whatsapp, have a data plan to upload videos and pictures of their outings with the client dogs. *Required:* Full G License- You will be transporting dogs from their homes to various dog parks around etobicoke. You must be ok having dogs in your vehicle. We walk dogs in all weather, rain or shine. We provide group walks to dog parks, private walks, potty breaks and some weekend walks. Our current position requires you to handle 3-6 dogs at a time (general training provided) We are looking for experienced dog individuals.
