*Job Overview* We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Truck Driver - Class 1 to join our transportation team! This position offers an exciting opportunity for motivated drivers who thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in their work. *Responsibilities* * Safely operate a Class 1 commercial truck to transport freight over short and long distances, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations * Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and load security * Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment when necessary, ensuring proper handling and documentation * Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery records, and vehicle maintenance reports in compliance with regulatory requirements * Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients to coordinate pickups and deliveries * Perform minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to ensure vehicle reliability and safety * Follow all safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and freight handling *Skills* * Valid Class 1 commercial driver?s license with a clean driving record * Experience operating forklifts and other heavy equipment in a logistics or warehouse setting * Knowledge of freight handling procedures and securement techniques * Ability to perform basic automotive repairs and troubleshoot mechanical issues * Strong understanding of safety regulations related to commercial driving and heavy equipment operation * Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients * Physical ability to load, unload, lift heavy items, and perform inspections as required Join us as a Truck Driver - Class 1 and become an essential part of our logistics network!
