*Job Summary* We are seeking a full-time experienced, confident and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our veterinary team. The ideal candidate will assist veterinarians in providing high-quality care to animals, perform laboratory procedures, and ensure the smooth operation of the clinic. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment committed to animal health and well-being, with a focus on client service and professional growth. Weekend and Evening availability is a must! *Responsibilities* * Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and procedures * Prepare animals for surgery and recovery, monitor anesthesia, and provide post-operative care * Perform laboratory tests such as blood work, urinalysis, and other diagnostic procedures * Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian * Maintain accurate medical records and update patient files * Provide client education on animal health, nutrition, and preventive care * Ensure cleanliness and sterilization of surgical instruments and treatment areas * Support inventory management by ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels *Skills* * Prior laboratory experience is highly desirable to efficiently perform diagnostic tests * Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and team members * Compassionate attitude towards animals and their owners * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail * Knowledge of veterinary medical procedures, equipment, and safety protocols * Excellent organizational skills for managing multiple tasks simultaneously * Able to separate personal preferences from professional responsibilities and maintain positive, respectful working relationships This position is integral to providing exceptional animal care and supporting the veterinary team.
