*Job Summary* *Healing Waves Counselling* is a growing counselling practice based in British Columbia, offering both virtual services across BC and in-person sessions in 100 Mile House. We are seeking a compassionate, experienced *Registered Social Worker (RSW)* to join our collaborative counselling team. This is an in person position This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician who values autonomy, meaningful client work, and being part of a supportive, heart-centered practice. About the Role The successful candidate will provide counselling services to: * Individuals (adults) * Youth and adolescents * Couples You will work with a diverse range of concerns including anxiety, depression, stress, ADHD, BPD, relationship challenges, life transitions, emotional regulation, and trauma-related concerns. Qualifications * Registered and in good standing with the British Columbia College of Social Workers * Minimum *3+ years of clinical counselling experience* * Demonstrated experience working with individuals, youth, and couples * Strong clinical assessment, case conceptualization, and documentation skills * Professional liability insurance * Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team environment Preferred Assets * Training in trauma-informed practice * Experience with attachment-based work * Couples counselling training (Gottman, EFT, or similar approaches) * Experience working virtually * Interest in contributing to workshops or group programming * Knowledge about ADHD What We Offer * Flexible scheduling (part-time or full-time opportunities available) * Competitive fee split * Administrative and marketing support * Referrals provided * Supportive team environment * Opportunities to grow within an expanding practice At Healing Waves Counselling, we value authenticity, warmth, and high-quality clinical care. We thank all applicants for their interest; however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted. *Responsibilities* * Develop individualized care plans that address patient needs, coordinate services, and facilitate access to community resources. * Conduct research related to patient populations, best practices, and new interventions to improve service delivery. * Educate families about available resources, special education options, and other support services. * Maintain accurate documentation of case notes, assessments, and interventions in compliance with healthcare regulations. * Provide ADHD assessments *Qualifications* * Masters degree in Social Work (BSW) or related field * Experience working with children and pediatric populations is highly desirable. * Knowledge of case management principles, patient care procedures, and research methodologies. * Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams. * Experience in data collection, analysis, and report writing related to social work practices. * Background in special education or working with diverse populations is advantageous. * Compassionate nature with excellent problem-solving skills and cultural sensitivity.
