Education: Bachelor's degree. Chemical engineering. Tasks: Evaluate chemical process technology and equipment . Design and test chemical processing and associated plants and equipment. Oversee the construction, modification, operation and maintenance of pilot plants, processing units or processing plants. Realize modelling and simulation exercises on computerized units. Assist in the development of chemical engineering processes, studies of chemical engineering procurement, construction, inspection and maintenance. Compile records and interpret experimental or analytical results. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association. Analytical techniques: Statistical analysis. Computer and technology knowledge: Aspen HYSYS Software. MS Office. Equipment and machinery experience: Heat exchangers. Area of work experience: Engineering professional and construction management (EPCM). Specialization or experience: Chemical engineering.
