Our purpose is not only to deliver great technology, but also to develop great people - fostering collaboration, continuous learning, and professional growth. </p><p><strong>About the Role</strong></p><p>We?re looking for a Senior PLC & Robotics programmer who owns automation projects end-to-end, from concept and programming to commissioning and customer handoff.</p><p>As a Controls & Robotics Programmer (Automation Systems Programmer), at BOS Innovations, you will design, develop, and integrate control systems for advanced automation projects, specializing in either PLC/HMI programming, robotics integration, or both. You?ll collaborate with both mechanical and electrical design as well as project management teams to bring automated solutions to life, ensuring they meet customer specifications, safety standards, and project timelines.</p><p>This role is ideal for a hands-on problem solver who enjoys tackling diverse challenges, from writing structured logic to fine-tuning robot paths. You?ll play a key role throughout the full project lifecycle: programming, testing, troubleshooting, commissioning, and continuous improvement of automation systems that define the next generation of manufacturing efficiency.</p><p><strong>Location: </strong>London, ON<br><strong>Employment Type: </strong>Full Time<br><strong>Salary Range: </strong>$40/hr. - $50/hr.<br><strong>Department: </strong>Programming</p><p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES </strong></p><ul><li><strong>Develop and Integrate Control Systems: </strong>Design and implement PLC and HMI programs or robot control logic that follow BOS standards and customer specifications, ensuring seamless communication between devices and systems.</li><li><strong>Collaborate and Problem Solve: </strong>Work closely with project managers, engineers, and build teams to identify issues, implement solutions, and ensure machines perform safely and efficiently during all project phases, from development to commissioning.</li><li><strong>Commission and Support Equipment: </strong>Lead on-site installation and commissioning, troubleshooting I/O, motion, and communication networks to deliver fully functional, production-ready systems that meet FAT and SAT milestones. Communicate effectively with customers during on-site activities to ensure clarity, professionalism, and a positive project experience.</li><li><strong>Ensure Quality and Documentation: </strong>Maintain up-to-date Quality Control Checklists, develop clear operating and troubleshooting documentation, and adhere to BOS programming standards for accuracy, reliability, and safety compliance.</li><li><strong>Drive Continuous Improvement: </strong>Drive Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify process or program enhancements, contribute to BOS programming standards, and support team growth through mentorship and participation in internal career development initiatives.</li></ul><p></p><p><em>This description reflects management?s assignment of essential functions; it does not prescribe or restrict the tasks that may be assigned.
