Education: College/CEGEP. Tasks: Develop and implement a strategic blueprint to follow when deploying databases within their organization. Document reporting needs, queries, logic, results and recommendations to other information systems professionals. Enact measures to make sure unauthorized users cannot access the data. Liaise with staff on data requirements, collection and availability . Setup the IT infrastructure to allow applications to access databases. Test data models and database management systems. Design and develop database. Operate database management systems to analyze data. Develop policies and procedures for network access and usage and for the backup and recovery of data. Plan and manage budgets. Oversee analysis of data and information and prepare reports. Requisition materials and supplies. Develop document inventories .
