Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Confined spaces. Work setting: Residential. Repair. Maintenance. Tasks: Install electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, lighting fixtures and other electrical components. Replace or repair electrical components. Maintain, repair, install and test switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators and reactors. Maintain, repair, test and install electrical motors, generators, alternators, industrial storage batteries and hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems. Troubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial, electrical and electronic control systems and other related devices. Keep maintenance reports and documentation. Determine appropriate selection of materials and methods for hazardous locations. Design and construct single-phase service for single or multimeter installations. Professionalism in customer service. Replace and repair electrical controls and panel boxes. Install electrical controls and panel boxes. Supervision: 1 to 2 people. Experience: Experience an asset.
