We are looking for a part- time person with a positive attitude who has good customer service skills and experience working in pharmacy. The ideal candidate will assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications and maintaining patient records. This would be for about 25 hours a week ( three days example: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) Would be flexible to cover for other employee's vacation days and sick days) This Job would allow for the opportunity to be turned into full time. Daily Tasks: * Greet & Serve every patient that comes into the pharmacy, answering any simple questions about the prescriptions & payments. * Preparing prescriptions to be filled via Propel software * Processing, adjudicating, dispensing, and filling prescriptions * Gathering patient information such as insurance etc. quickly and efficiently * Blister packaging assembly * Answering phones * Experience as a Pharmacy Assistant * Cashing people out and maintaining the till. * Basic math skills. * Help customers find non-prescription items * Provide patients with non-drug product information * Maintaining strict confidentiality and ethical standards * Excellent organizational skills and detail-oriented * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Ability to manage changing priorities * Ability to work independently and as a member of a team * Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills * Strong organizational and time-management skills Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $18.50 per hour Benefits: * Casual dress * Company events * Discounted or free food * Flexible schedule * On-site parking * Store discount Flexible language requirement: * French not required Experience: * pharmacy: 1 year (required) Work Location: In person- Location Peterborough, ON
