<div><strong>City Furniture</strong> is hiring a full-time <strong>Delivery Driver & Warehouse Associate</strong> to join our team in Prince Rupert, BC. This is a great opportunity for someone with delivery, warehouse, moving, logistics, or material handling experience who is looking for stable, full-time work.<br><br><strong>Pay & Benefits:</strong></div><ul><li>$19.00 - $20.00 per hour.</li><li>Overtime pay.</li><li>Customer tips.</li><li>Health benefits.</li><li>Full-time, permanent position.</li><li>Monday to Friday schedule.</li></ul><div><br></div><div><strong>Schedule:</strong></div><ul><li>Monday to Friday.</li><li>9:00 AM ? 5:00 PM.</li></ul><div><br><strong>What You'll Do:</strong><br><strong>Delivery Responsibilities:</strong></div><ul><li>Load, secure, transport, and deliver furniture and appliances to customers.</li><li>Verify orders before departure and upon delivery.</li><li>Assist with placement of products at customer locations.</li><li>Complete delivery documentation and obtain customer signatures.</li><li>Conduct vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns.</li><li>Provide friendly and professional customer service during deliveries.</li><li>Follow delivery schedules and assigned routes.</li></ul><div><br></div><div><strong>Warehouse Responsibilities:</strong></div><ul><li>Load and unload incoming shipments.</li><li>Prepare merchandise for customer pickup and delivery.</li><li>Assist with inventory counts and product tracking.</li><li>Restock showroom inventory as needed.</li><li>Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided if applicable).</li><li>Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.</li><li>Support daily warehouse operations and team objectives.</li></ul><div><br></div><div><strong>Qualifications:</strong><br><strong>Required:</strong></div><ul><li>Valid Class 5 Driver's License (non-GDL).</li><li>Clean driving record.</li><li>Ability to safely lift and move heavy furniture and appliances.</li><li>Strong work ethic and reliability.</li><li>Ability to work effectively in a team environment.</li><li>Basic English communication skills.</li></ul><div><strong>Preferred:</strong></div><ul><li>Experience in furniture delivery.</li><li>Experience in moving, warehousing, logistics, shipping and receiving, or material handling.</li><li>Experience operating a 1-ton truck.</li><li>Forklift or warehouse equipment experience.</li></ul><div><br></div><div>Candidates with related experience are encouraged to apply even if they do not meet every preferred qualification.</div><div><br><strong>Skills for Success:</strong></div><ul><li>Customer service.</li><li>Time management.</li><li>Attention to detail.</li><li>Safe lifting and material handling.</li><li>Route and delivery coordination.</li><li>Teamwork and communication.</li><li>Warehouse organization.</li><li>Inventory support.</li></ul><div><br></div><div><strong>Why Join City Furniture?</strong><br>At City Furniture, we take pride in providing quality products and exceptional service to our customers.
