*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, ensuring that patients receive the highest quality of care. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and medication administration, along with excellent patient care skills. *Duties* * Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently. * Maintain inventory by monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and organizing medication storage. * Provide exceptional patient care by answering questions, addressing concerns, and ensuring a positive experience for all patients. * Utilize medical terminology to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and patients. * Support medication administration processes under the supervision of licensed pharmacists. * Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards within the pharmacy environment. * Perform administrative tasks such as maintaining patient records, processing prescriptions, and handling billing inquiries. *Requirements* * Experience as a pharmacy technician is highly desirable. * Knowledge or experience using Kroll software preferred. * Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to pharmaceuticals and patient care. * Excellent communication skills with a focus on providing outstanding patient service. * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. * Commitment to upholding safety standards and confidentiality in all pharmacy operations.
