<p>Otter Co-op is now hiring a  Full-Time  Truck Driver  for our Bulk Petroleum Division  located in Chilliwack, BC .  Who we are: Otter Co-op is a diverse and growing organization, serving the Lower Mainland, Fraser Valley and BC Interior since 1922.</p><p>With over 100 years in business and over 1000 in our team, we are proud to be a locally owned and community minded member of the neighbourhoods we live, work and play in.</p><p>We operate three food and pharmacy stores (including one with a fashion and hardware department), thirty Angry Otter liquor stores, two feed mills, two bulk petroleum facilities, the Angry Otter Tap & Forno and Brewery in North Vancouver, the Highwayman Pub in Abbotsford, the Highwayman pub in South Surrey and twenty-five gas station/convenience stores.</p><p>To learn more about who we are and how you can help bring our brand to life, visit us at  www.otterco-op.crs .</p><p>What you’ll do: Hauling bulk petroleum products to customer locations within BC Filling equipment, generators and fuel tanks in pits at customer locations Following all loading and unloading procedures Complete all pre and post trip inspections daily, communicating when any repairs are required Confirm the nature of each delivery and any special considerations prior to leaving Maintain positive working relationships and communicate regularly with Dispatch/Office Staff Ensure all commercial driving regulations and safety protocols are followed Maintain high standards of workmanship and safety Contribute to the team in living the corporate Values of Integrity, Community and Excellence Perform other duties as assigned Why it matters: Our team provides a range of products and services to support our member-owners.</p><p>Through the work that we do, we help to build, fuel, feed and grow Western Canadian communities together.  Who you are: You are looking for a career in Bulk Petroleum Operations and: Valid Class 3 drivers licence with air brakes endorsement required 3+ years verifiable commercial driving experience preferred Training at an approved driver training school is preferred Must have a clean driver’s abstract (to be updated annually) General understanding of agriculture business and/or farming background an asset Strong customer service, interpersonal and communication skills Motivation and ability to work under pressure and in a busy work environment is required Must be committed to a SAFE working environment This position is physically demanding.</p><p>Able to perform physical job duties including lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs as well as regular climbing up and down equipment and tending to wheel-to-wheel refuel requirements.  Must have open availability to work a variety of shifts, which will include early mornings, weekdays and weekends.</p><p>Preference for candidates with afternoon availability.</p><p>This position will be primarily based out of our Chilliwack Bulk Petroleum office but may require travel to our Langley (Aldergrove) Bulk Petroleum Facility.  This is a safety sensitive position and is subject to drug and alcohol screening.</p><p>What’s in it for you: Competitive wages - paid hourly Wage increases based on time worked & meeting expectations in the position Local driving, Canada only - be home daily Annual bonus program for all eligible team members Team discount on Gas, Liquor, Food, Fashion, Hardware, Feed & Restaurant purchases Co-op Membership with an annual dividend payment on qualified purchases Education Assistance Program Learning opportunities, to grow and develop and to foster a culture of teamwork and innovation Otter Co-op is committed to a diverse and supportive working environment based on our Core Company Values of Integrity, Community and Excellence.  We embrace diversity and inclusion, and we’re working to create a workplace that is as diverse as the communities we ser- Location Chilliwack, BC
