This vital role involves supporting our pharmacists in delivering high-quality patient care at our community pharmacy in Lion's Head, Ontario. Join us in making a positive impact on the health of our local residents. *Responsibilities* * Assist pharmacists with dispensing medications accurately and efficiently. * Provide excellent customer service and answer patient inquiries. * Maintain accurate medical records and manage inventory. * Support medication administration procedures under supervision. * Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and safety standards. * Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes. * Keep up-to-date with medical terminology and pharmacy procedures. * *Qualifications* * Proven experience in pharmacy settings or hospital environments. * Strong knowledge of medical terminology. * Excellent patient care skills and communication abilities. * Ability to handle medication administration tasks accurately. * Prior experience as a pharmacy assistant is highly desirable. * Attention to detail and organizational skills. * Ability to work well within a team environment. * Certification or diploma in pharmacy assistance or related field preferred.
