Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Chicken farming. Hog and pig farming. Dusty. Noisy. Odours. Work setting: Rural area. Tasks: Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens and other work areas. Clear fields of wood and stones. Disinfect pens, barns or poultry houses. Handling animals. Perform livestock feeding. Perform pig littering activities such as clipping needle teeth, docking tails, administering iron and other medication(s), identification of piglets, and castration. Weaning. Weeding. Feed and tend animals. Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed. Clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens. Maintain work records and logs.
