We honour the dignity and uniqueness of each person through our core values of <em>Care, Connection </em>and<em> Excellence.</em></span></p><br /><h2><span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">What we are hiring for:</span></h2><p style="line-height:normal;vertical-align:baseline;"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12pt;">We are currently hiring multiple regular full-time <strong><u>Direct Support Professional / Night Attendants</u></strong> for our Supported Independent Living program in Sarnia, Ontario.</span></p><p style="line-height:normal;vertical-align:baseline;"><span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="color:#000000;">Direct Support Professionals</span><span style="color:#000000;"> make a difference in people's lives by providing support to people with developmental disabilities in all activities of daily living in their homes and the community and by fostering independence and personal growth. In conjunction with the person, their team and family/friends, Direct Support Professionals are responsible for planning and overseeing provision of support, along with creating skill development opportunities for people supported in aspiration to reach their life goals.</span></span></p><br /><h2><span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">What you will need:</span></h2><ul><li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color:#000000;font-size:12pt;">Valid "G or G2" class license and reliable vehicle</span></li><li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color:#000000;font-size:12pt;">Be willing to provide a clear Vulnerable Sector Police Check</span></li><li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color:#000000;font-size:12pt;">Be legally entitled to work in Canada</span></li><li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color:#000000;font-size:12pt;">Current certification in First Aid/CPR required</span></li><li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color:#000000;font-size:12pt;">Current certification in NVCPI or willing to obtain</span></li><li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color:#000000;font-size:12pt;">Experience working with people with developmental disabilities is an asset</span></li><li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color:#000000;font-size:12pt;">Be comfortable with providing personal care and attending to medical needs of individuals</span></li><li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12pt;">Knowledge and experience supporting people with mental health/illness</span></li><li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12pt;">Adaptable to varying complex support needs</span></li><li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12pt;">Mental Health First Aid, Safe Talk and Trauma Informed Care an asset</span></li><li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12pt;">Knowledge of community resources an asset</span></li></ul><h2><span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Compensation and scheduling:</span></h2><ul><li style="line-height:normal;"><span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:arial- Location Petrolia, ON
