Canada Energy Audit Ltd. is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented *Warehouse Associate* to support daily warehouse operations, inventory preparation, equipment handling, logistics coordination, and end-of-day warehouse management. This role is responsible for ensuring that field teams are properly prepared with the required tools, equipment, appliances, HVAC materials, portable AC units, and weatherization supplies for daily operations. Key Responsibilities: Daily Load Preparation * Prepare materials, tools, equipment, and job-related items for the following day?s field work. * Review job requirements and inventory records to ensure each team has the correct materials. * Stage items for efficient loading into company vehicles. Inventory Management * Use warehouse management systems such as Odoo to verify, scan, and track inventory. * Confirm items are properly assigned to the correct team or job. * Receive late deliveries and update inventory records accordingly. Equipment Handling * Safely move, organize, and stage appliances, HVAC equipment, portable AC units, and other materials. * Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pump trucks, where applicable. * Assist with loading and unloading company vehicles. Field Team Support * Support appliance, HVAC, portable AC, and weatherization teams with materials and equipment preparation. * Provide replacement tools, spare parts, or additional materials as requested by technicians. * Assist with unloading returned equipment or materials at the end of the day. Return Processing & Recycling * Assist with unloading old appliances and placing them in designated recycling or disposal areas. * Sort garbage, recyclable materials, and disposal items into the appropriate bins. * Help maintain safe and organized storage areas. Warehouse Closing Procedures * Ensure all materials and equipment are returned to their designated locations. * Prepare any required materials for next-day morning pickups. * Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe. * Ensure warehouse doors are locked, lights are turned off, and the alarm system is activated before closing. Qualifications * Previous warehouse, logistics, inventory, or equipment handling experience preferred. * Forklift or pump truck experience is an asset. * Ability to lift, move, and organize equipment and materials safely. * Strong attention to detail and accuracy. * Good organizational and time-management skills. * Ability to work independently and support multiple field teams. * Comfortable using inventory or warehouse management systems. * Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious. Preferred Skills * Experience with HVAC, appliance delivery, portable AC, or construction-related materials. * Familiarity with Odoo or similar inventory management software. * Forklift certification is necessary. * Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Work Environment This role is based in a warehouse setting and may involve physical work, including lifting, moving materials, operating warehouse equipment, organizing inventory, and supporting field operations before and after daily job schedules.
