Our client, a leading manufacturer, is seeking a driven and detail-oriented <strong>Accounting Supervisor</strong>. You will play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, mentoring staff, and navigating the company's transition as they seek to strengthen their accounting operations.<br><br>What our client has to offer:<ul>	<li>Excellent compensation	<li>Biannual profit share and comprehensive benefits package	<li>Opportunities for growth and development	<li>A casual, team-oriented work environment</ul><br><strong>Responsibilities:</strong><ul>	<li>Monthly, quarterly and yearly financial statement preparation<br>	Assist and support budgeting & forecasting	<li>Oversee AR and manage complex bills of material	<li>Deal with financing companies and ensure financial accuracy.	<li>Lead and mentor a team of approximately seven people	<li>Ensure financial accuracy within evolving accounting processes.	<li>Foster positive team dynamics and communication, especially with long-term employees.	<li>Collaborate closely with other accounting team members and interact with plant personnel, requiring occasional presence on the plant floor.	<li>Adapt quickly to responsibilities during a period of lean staffing and transition to new standards.	<li>Provide guidance and mentorship to accounting staff, particularly regarding costing.</ul><br><strong>Qualifications:</strong><ul>	<li><strong>CPA </strong>or in the Final Stages is required with 3+ years of supervisory or management experience	<li>Manufacturing experience an asset	<li>Solid experience with budgeting and reporting	<li>Excellent soft skills, including strong communication and the ability to work well with diverse team members and manage change effectively</ul><br>#ACC1 This posting is for an open vacancy currently available within our client's organization.
