If you're ready to grow with us, we offer competitive compensation, an extensive benefits package, continuous training opportunities, and a supportive, family-oriented work environment. *\*\*Requirements:\*\** To excel in this role, you should meet the following requirements: *- A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in the automotive industry.* *- Registration with the Ministry of Training, Colleges, and Universities.* *- Possession of a valid Ontario 310S license.* *- A valid Ontario G driver?s license.* *- A clean Driver?s Abstract.* *- Previous experience at Kia/Hyundai is a valuable asset, though not mandatory.* *- EV certification with Kia is a valuable asset, though not mandatory.* \*\*Responsibilities:\*\* As a Licensed Technician at Trento Kia, you'll be responsible for: *- Performing maintenance and repairs on Kia vehicles as well as other makes.* *- Efficiently and accurately executing tasks outlined in repair orders.* *- Providing recommendations for services that enhance vehicle performance and ensure safety.* *- Utilizing appropriate tools and test equipment while promptly reporting any equipment issues.* *- Upholding a consistently clean and organized shop environment.* *- Strictly adhering to safety regulations within the shop.* *- Pursuing necessary education and training to become a registered Kia EV technician.* *- Enrolling in and completing Kia University Technical Training courses as required.* *- Fulfilling other tasks assigned by management as needed.* \*\*Benefits:\*\* *- Competitive salary and comprehensive benefit plan.* *- Ongoing support for training and certification needs.* *- Collaborative and supportive team atmosphere reflecting our family-run values.* - Monday to Friday and alternate Saturdays.
