<p>Hello, <br> <br>I?m Simon Mathé, Recruitment Consultant at FED ManuTech, specializing in technical and industrial roles. <br> <br>I am currently recruiting for a growing plastic manufacturing company looking to hire a Quality Control Coordinator to lead quality activities across its Laval and Hawkesbury sites.</p> <strong>Mission</strong> <p>Your Role <br> <br>As a Quality Control Coordinator, you will oversee all quality-related activities, combining hands-on floor presence with process control, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives. <br> <br>Your responsibilities include: <br> <br>Ensuring product quality and compliance with standards (GMP-like environment) <br>Leading internal and customer audits (preparation, execution, follow-up) <br>Managing non-conformities and corrective actions (CAPA) <br>Training and supporting production teams on quality standards <br>Performing inspections, sampling, and in-process quality checks <br>Validating first articles before production launch <br>Maintaining traceability and quality documentation <br>Monitoring and analyzing quality KPIs (defects, returns, scrap, etc.) <br>Collaborating with production, management, and cross-functional teams <br>Driving continuous improvement initiatives <br>Addressing production issues and supporting operators on the floor <br>Traveling between Laval and Hawkesbury sites</p> <strong>Your profile</strong> <p>Your Profile <br>Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance in manufacturing <br>Experience in plastics manufacturing (strong asset) <br>Hands-on experience with audits and non-conformance management <br>Ability to balance floor presence and process/documentation work <br>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills <br>Good communication and training abilities <br>Autonomous and well-organized <br>Functional English required <br>Technical diploma (DEC) in plastics or related field (asset) <br>Comfortable with data entry, tracking tools, and documentation systems <br> <br>Working Conditions <br>Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 (to be confirmed) <br>Hybrid role between floor and office <br>Travel between two sites (mileage reimbursed) <br>Fast-paced manufacturing environment with strong quality requirements <br>Key role with high visibility and impact</p> <br><br>- Location Laval, QC
