This organization is known for its hands-on leadership style, collaborative culture, and operational agility, and is now looking for a Maintenance Supervisor who can play a key role in rebuilding and strengthening the plant?s maintenance structure. <br> <br>This is an opportunity to join a company where decisions move quickly, leadership is accessible, and your impact on operations is visible every day.</p> <strong>Mission</strong> <p>Reporting directly to the Operations Director, you will act as the plant?s maintenance lead and trusted technical partner, overseeing both production equipment and critical building utility systems within a GMP-regulated environment. <br> <br>This position combines technical leadership, capital project management, continuous improvement, and hands-on operational involvement. <br> <br>Key responsibilities include: <br> <br>Leading and supervising maintenance technicians, mechanics, and external contractors <br>Rebuilding and improving the preventive and predictive maintenance program <br>Ensuring reliability of production equipment and critical utilities systems, including: <br>HVAC <br>purified water/WFI <br>compressed air <br>Coordinating maintenance activities with Production, Quality, and Operations teams to minimize downtime <br>Supporting technical investigations, root cause analysis, CAPA activities, and change control processes <br>Ensuring GMP/GxP compliance across maintenance activities and documentation <br>Participating in asset lifecycle evaluation and CAPEX planning <br>Managing technical improvement and equipment optimization projects from start to finish <br>Implementing maintenance KPIs, tools, and process improvements within a currently Excel-driven environment <br>Coordinating specialized contractors related to building systems and utilities <br>Promoting a strong health & safety and continuous improvement culture <br> <br>The role is roughly divided between: <br> <br>50-60% project management and continuous improvement <br>40-50% technical supervision and hands-on operational support <br> <br>This person will become the plant?s key maintenance resource and will have significant influence on operational strategy and maintenance development. <br> <br>Working Conditions <br> <br>Salary: $75,000 to $100,000 <br>Permanent full-time position <br>Day schedule: <br>37.5 hours/week <br>8:00 AM to 4:00 PM <br>No 24/7 operations <br>Group insurance paid at 53% by the employer <br>RRSP contribution program (3.3%) <br>3 weeks vacation <br>On-site parking <br>Collaborative and people-oriented environment <br>Lean organizational structure with strong autonomy and fast decision-making <br>Opportunity to directly influence plant operations, maintenance strategy, and technical investments <br> <br>If you are looking for a role where you can build, improve, and truly influence maintenance operations within a growing pharmaceutical manufacturing environment, this opportunity could be an excellent next step in your career.</p> <strong>Your profile</strong> <p>Background in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical field, or related discipline <br>Strong equivalent experience considered even without an engineering title <br>Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance <br>Pharmaceutical manufacturing experience strongly preferred <br>Food manufacturing or other highly regulated GMP environments may also be considered <br> <br>Strong understanding of: <br>GMP/GxP regulations <br>Change Control <br>CAPA processes <br>equipment validation activities <br>Hands-on experience with building utility systems: <br>HVAC <br>purified w- Location Dorval, QC
