Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Horse breeding. Livestock. Tasks: Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens and other work areas. Clear fields of wood and stones. Develop and guide the behaviour of farm animals. Diagnose livestock health issues. Handling animals. Monitoring animal health. Organize tasks to accomplish the work. Perform animal grooming activities . Perform livestock feeding. Track and report on current feed inventory . Weaning. Feed and tend animals. Negotiate with clients for provision of services. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Carry out a pasture or pen breeding programs. Maintain livestock performance records. Maintain quality control and production records. Clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens. Maintain work records and logs. Perform general farm duties. Set and monitor water lines, air flow and temperature in barns, pens and chicken coops.
