The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in automotive repair, with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently. This role requires proficiency with hand tools and power tools, as well as the capability to work with schematics and perform heavy lifting as needed. The Automotive Mechanic will play a vital role in maintaining vehicle performance and ensuring customer satisfaction. *Responsibilities* * Diagnose and repair automotive issues using appropriate tools and techniques. * Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections. * Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as necessary for repairs. * Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs. * Read and interpret schematics to understand vehicle systems and components. * Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols. * Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding repairs and maintenance needs. *Skills* * Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools specific to automotive repair. * Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various automotive systems. * Experience working in a shop or similar environment is preferred but not required. * Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs or maintenance tasks. * Familiarity with reading schematics for diagnosing vehicle issues. * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively.
