Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Beef cattle ranching and farming, including feedlots. Corn farming. Other grain farming. Livestock. All weather conditions. Tasks: Clean the crops. Handling animals. Harvest seedlings. Organize tasks to accomplish the work. Perform livestock feeding. Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops. Harvest crops. Feed and tend animals. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying or harvesting. Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed. Clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens. Operate various vehicles and equipment. Operate machines and equipment. Maintain farm machinery, equipment and buildings. Operate industrial trucks, tractors and other mobile equipment. Operate and feed a variety of machines. Check, calibrate and perform routine maintenance to equipment. Operate machinery. Spray herbicides from the ground using manual spraying equipment. Organize planting, cultivating and crop harvesting activities. Monitor water lines, air flow and temperature in barns. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence.
