*Job Summary* We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Cake Decorator to join our bakery team for weekends . The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating visually stunning cakes and desserts, ensuring each product meets high standards of quality and presentation. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with team members, and providing excellent customer service to our clients. Prior experience in cake decorating and food handling is preferred, along with a strong understanding of food safety practices. *Responsibilities* * Decorate cakes and desserts according to customer specifications and company standards * Prepare ingredients and assemble cakes using various techniques such as piping, fondant work, and icing application * Ensure all baked goods are visually appealing, consistent, and meet quality standards * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the decorating station and kitchen area * Handle food safely by following proper hygiene procedures and food safety regulations * Package finished products carefully for delivery or customer pickup * Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, including baking and ingredient measurement * Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of orders and high customer satisfaction *Skills* * Proven experience in cake decorating, pastry arts, or related culinary fields * Strong knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation practices * Excellent attention to detail and artistic skills for cake design and decoration * Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment * Good communication skills to understand customer requests and collaborate with team members * Experience in restaurant or food industry settings is a plus * Basic cooking, baking, and food preparation skills are desirable * Familiarity with packaging techniques for baked goods * Customer service orientation to ensure positive interactions with clients Join our team to showcase your creativity while delivering deliciously beautiful cakes that delight our customers!
