We are excited to offer an opportunity for a talented Mortgage Broker to become a part of our dynamic team at Planet Group Mortgages, located in Surrey BC. As a Mortgage Broker, you will play a crucial role in helping clients achieve their dream of homeownership while securing their financial future. Responsibilities: - Assist clients in obtaining mortgage loans by evaluating their financial situation and recommending suitable loan products - Collect and analyze financial information, such as income, assets, and credit history, to determine eligibility for loans - Guide clients through the mortgage application process, including completing paperwork and gathering necessary documentation - Communicate with lenders on behalf of clients to negotiate loan terms and secure the best possible interest rates - Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner - Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and changes in mortgage lending practices Requirements: - Previous experience in financial services or a related field is preferred - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and lenders - Strong cash management skills to accurately assess clients' financial situations - Exceptional customer service skills to provide a positive experience for clients throughout the mortgage process - Fluency in English is required; bilingual proficiency in French is a plus - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and calculations - Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable loan terms for clients - Solid math skills to accurately calculate loan amounts, interest rates, and other financial figures Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
