*Overview* We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to provide high-quality care and assistance to a individual in their home The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient well-being and possess relevant experience in senior care, hospice, or working with individuals with disabilities. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those needing support with daily activities and health management. *Responsibilities* * Assist client with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support * Provide patient care that includes medication administration and health monitoring under supervision * Support with meal preparation and feeding as needed, ensuring nutritional requirements are met * Help with light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and maintaining a safe environment * Engage clients in social activities and companionship to promote mental well-being * Assist with transfers and heavy lifting to ensure safety for both clients and staff * Document care provided accurately and communicate effectively with healthcare teams * Follow all safety protocols related to infection control, medication handling, and emergency procedures *Qualifications* * Experience in assisted living, nursing home, home care, or hospice care preferred * Knowledge of senior care, dementia care, or working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable * Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with mobility support safely * Strong caregiving skills combined with patience, empathy, and excellent communication abilities * Certification in medication administration or caregiving is a plus but not required * Ability to work flexible hours including weekends or holidays if necessary * Prior experience in caregiving roles demonstrates a commitment to providing compassionate support This position offers an enriching environment for those passionate about caring for others.
