Job DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?We are seeking a highly skilled and technically proficient Email Marketing Manager to join our dynamic Digital Marketing team at RBC Insurance. In this role, you will focus on the technical implementation and management of email marketing platforms and campaigns. Your expertise will ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of email operations, enhancing customer engagement and driving measurable results.If you are a detail-oriented professional with technical expertise in multiple email marketing platforms and a passion for email marketing, we want to hear from you!What will you do??Design, develop, and execute email campaigns for both transactional and marketing purposes, including automations and journey builder workflows?Implement data management strategies, ensuring proper audience segmentation, data hygiene, and compliance with data privacy regulations, working with our data & analytics tools to make sure data is accurate, compliant and clean?Create and optimize email templates using HTML/CSS to ensure responsive design and a consistent brand experience across devices?Collaborate with marketing teams to establish and maintain email best practices, from deliverability to design and content?Monitor and troubleshoot technical issues related to email campaigns and platforms, leveraging analytics tools to assess performance and resolve problems?Analyze KPIs and generate reports that provide insights on all email marketing initiatives for continuous improvement?Stay current with email marketing industry updates and emerging technologies to enhance campaign capabilities and executionWhat do you need to succeed?Must have?Minimum of 5 years of experience implementing and using platforms like Salesforce Marketing Cloud and HubSpot, with a strong understanding of its technical features including Automation Studio, Journey Builder, and Email Studio?Proven ability to manage technical aspects of email marketing campaigns, including data imports/exports and API integrations?Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and SQL for creating custom email templates and managing campaign data?Strong analytical skills, with experience in A/B testing, reporting, and leveraging data to optimize campaign performance?Familiarity with email deliverability best practices and regulatory compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, Bill 64, CASL)Nice to have?Experience with Customer Data Platforms like Segment or Tealium?Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.?Solid understanding of CRM & Marketing AutomationWhat's in it for you?
