R.I.C. MetalWerx Inc. is a metal fabrication shop located in Chilliwack, BC. We offer cutting, bending, pemming and welding services for customers in the valley and Greater Vancouver area. We?re looking for a Press Brake Operator to join our dynamic team. *Job responsibilities:* * Set-up and Operation of CNC Press Brakes * Perform measurements and math calculations to determine the correct tools and angles to bend parts * Demonstrate math skills to ensure items are designed and built up to customer and internal requirements * Read and interpret technical drawings * Measuring parts using a variety of tools and ensuring all parts meet quality requirements. * Ad hoc duties as required *Qualifications and skills:* * 3+ years working as a machine operator operating the press brake, laser, punch press * Basic math skills and functional literacy in reading, writing and calculation is required * Ability to check and measure parts to ensure accuracy and precision * Experience operating hand and power tools * Able to read blueprints * Able to lift 50 lbs Shift: 7:00AM - 3:30PM, M-F Thank you for applying, we look forward to hearing from you.
