Education: Earned doctorate degree. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Clinic. Private clinic. Tasks: Evaluate mobility, balance, gait and posture. Examine the patient. Observe the patient during the treatment. Diagnose disorders of the spine and other body joints. Adjust position of displaced vertebrae and other articulations, using manipulative therapy. Provide additional treatment such as heat, red light and massage. Advise patients on corrective exercises, lifestyle and nutrition. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Canadian Chiropractic Examining Board and Provincial Licensing Body Examination. Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities.
