Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Discuss work with supervisor. Inspect motor in operation. Review work orders . Road test motor vehicles . Test automotive systems and components. Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems. Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications. Perform scheduled maintenance service. Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification. Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years. Employment terms options: To be determined. Green job: Involves duties and responsibilities that lead to positive environmental outcomes. Support for youths: Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth.
