Job Overview: We are seeking skilled Painters to join a amazing growing company team. Must be experienced in all aspects of painting. Excellent customer service and a top quality finished product are mandatory. The Painter must have knowledge of various painting techniques and tools . Must have own vehicle, valid driver's licence, tools and proper painting whites. Must be willing to work outside of Calgary. This job entails a variety of tasks from working on a commercial construction job site and residential projects. Responsibilities: - Masking, covering surfaces, building dust controlled areas and make it a safe job site - Setup ladders and equipment in a manner that is efficient and safe. - Prepping the surfaces by sanding, priming, patching, washing and remove coatings - Always be proactive in moving the project along by helping out with details of the project - Apply paints, primers, top coats, and stains using brushes, rollers, or sprayers - Complete reports and order supplies when low. - Ensure all painting equipment, work area and themselves are clean and maintained properly - Finish projects within the set deadline. - Be able to be at the job site on time and where needed. Experience: - Knowledge of painting techniques and tools - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Attention to detail and precision in work - Physical stamina and strength to handle painting tasks Job Type: Full-time Pay: $28.00-$30.00 per hour Experience: * painting: 5 years (required) Language: * English (required) Licence/Certification: * Driving Licence (required) Work Location: In person- Location Calgary, AB
