Job details
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Tasks: Monitor quality and production levels. Oversee cleaning of specialty and difficult items. Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies. Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule (and possibly review) activities of workers. Train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies. Wash or dry-clean industrial or household articles. Supervision: 5-10 people. Dry cleaning and laundry workers. Ironing and finishing workers. Laundry workers. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure.
