Tasks: Carefully track the temperature gauges and colour, heating units, furnace flames, etc. to melt metal as per requirements. Pour molten metal into moulds to produce metal castings. Set up and operate casting machines to cast ferrous or non ferrous metal products. Hand ladle molten metal into moulds to produce castings. Operate furnaces used to melt metals for moulding and casting. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks. Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding. Attention to detail.
