Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Noisy. Tasks: Coordinate use of pulping, papermaking and papercoating process equipment. Operate and monitor pulping, papermaking and papercoating process equipment. Complete and maintain production reports. Control process operations and machinery. Direct other pulping, papermaking and finishing machine operators to make adjustments to pulp production, papermaking and coating process and equipment. Ensure pulp processes are operating within prescribed production limits. Make paper and coat paper products from pulp stock, mix chemicals and dyes. Observe instruments from central control room to detect equipment malfunctions. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Handling heavy loads. Repetitive tasks. Standing for extended periods. Own tools/equipment: Safety equipment/gear. Steel-toed safety boots. Personal suitability: Team player. Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years.
