*Current Shift:* 11:13am- 12:15pm Monday to Friday 10 months per year while regular classes are in session Additional minutes per day are included in the ?Current Shift? schedule above, which staff are expected to work daily in lieu of the spring break closure week in order to allow employees in continuing and temporary assignments to be paid their regular pay during the spring closure week as per Letter of Understanding -Spring Closure Week. *Pay Rate:* $24.81 *End Date:* June 25, 2026 *JOB DESCRIPTION* *POSITION* Student Monitor *SUMMARY* Under minimum supervision of a teacher or Administrator(s), monitors students at a school location or at a crosswalk. *DUTIES* * Ensures student safety at school crosswalks * Monitors students before, during or after school * Completes discipline reports * Dispenses first aid supplies (e.g. band aids, ice packs) * Reports traffic violations _\* Performs other assigned duties that are within the area of knowledge and skills required by the job_ _description._ *QUALIFICATIONS* * Grade 10 * Six months related experience * Relevant skills working with school age children * Level One First Aid and CPR Certificate _\* Or an equivalent combination of training and experience._ Job Type: Part-time Pay: $24.81 per hour Expected hours: 5 per week Work Location: In person- LocationVictoria, BC
