Education: College/CEGEP. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Outdoors. At heights. Confined spaces. Noisy. Dusty. Tasks: Calculate crane capacities . Measure weight to prepare for rigging and hoisting. Operate mobile and tower cranes to lift, move, position or place equipment and materials. Operate dragline cranes to expose coal seams and ore deposits at open pit mines. Type of cranes: Hydraulic or telescoping boom. Dragline. Locomotive crane. Overhead crane. Additional sector experience: Oilfield construction industry. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Work under pressure. Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination.
