Our company is looking for an experienced Accounting Clerk to assist in managing our day-to-day accounting and finance requirements.
\*Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma;
- Some accounts receivable experience would be an asset;
- General understanding of accounting practices and principles;
- Detail-oriented and quick learner and the ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy;
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel;
- Experience with Sage 300 is an asset;
- Excellent English and Mandarin language skills: verbal and written
\*Responsibilities:
- Monitor AR aging and perform collections procedures;
- Customer account reconciliations;
- Reconcile disputed items;
- Process customer credit notes when required;
- Correspond with customers regarding discrepancies with payments and disputed items when required;
- Process payment receipts daily;
- Monthly bank reconciliation;
- Review and enter Bill of Materials inventory;
- Enter inventory adjustments when required;
- Filing;
- Other duties as required;
- Assist other departments as required
\*Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
\*Schedule: 8-hour shift Monday to Friday
\*Experience: Bookkeeping: 1 year (preferred)
\*Language: Mandarin (required); English (required)

* Burnaby, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

* Accounting: 1 year (preferred)
* Bookkeeping: 1 year (preferred)
