Join The Upper Canada District School Board <p> Creating Futures, Leading and Learning for All <p> The UCDSB is currently hiring a Secondary Long-Term Occasional Teacher for the following:<p> Details of Assignment: Semester TWO <p> SNC2P, SNC1W, Special Education <p> 1.0 FTE - (0.5 FTE Annually) <p> Position ends May 31, 2024, or upon the return of the incumbent, whichever is earlier. <p> Secondary LTO positions may be split up and offered to multiple applicants at the discretion of the Principal <p> and Hiring Team.<p> Click here to view the UCDSB Map. Leger School of Adult, Alternative and Continuing Education Map <p> Qualifications and Experience: OCT in Good Standing <p> Qualifications Required: Intermediate Science, Special Education <p> clude the following: Cover Letter<p> Resume<p> Updated Applicant Profile including contact information. <p> Complete responses to job related questions You may also wish to attach relevant diplomas, certifications, reference letters, etc. relevant to your application. <p> References: <p> The UCDSB requires your current and two most recent direct supervisors. <p> If your experience is in a day-to-day occasional capacity ensure that you list the length of time that you worked for that Supervisor and whether the assignment was casual day-to-day or in a long-term occasional capacity.<p> Placement Teacher References: If providing a Placement Teacher as a reference, the UCDSB will require confirmation and approval from the Principal at the Placement School that the deferred reference (Placement Teacher) is approved to provide reference on behalf of the Principal.<p> The UCDSB does not accept colleagues or personal relationships as references. Selection Process: The UCDSB selection process includes a review of required qualifications, interview and assessment process, and reference checks. All employment offers are conditional on candidates providing a valid criminal record check for the vulnerable sector.
