*Retail Supervisor*
*Reporting directly to the SOS Children?s Village Thrift Store Foundation Manager. *
*Objective:*
To assist the manager with the day to day planning and organization of the overall store operation.
*Responsibilities:*
*Customer Service*:
* Create a pleasant and hospitable atmosphere in the store and assure that customers are served in a cheerful and courteous manner
* Assure that customers are served in a clean and attractive environment by maintaining high standards of cleanliness and tidiness in the store
*Merchandising:*
* Pricing and sorting of donations
* Store displays including window
* Inventory control
*Financial and Cash Procedures*:
* Cash register operation
* Daily float preparation
* Assist with banking procedures and bank deposits
*Qualifications:*
* Ability to relate to customers and volunteers in a warm, enthusiastic manner
* Demonstrate good organizational skills
* Flexible schedule and be willing to work some weekend shifts
* Ability to lift 25 lbs
* Ability to work well independently and as part of a team (takes initiative)
* Effective time management/priority setting abilities
* Brand name awareness and/or knowledge of vintage/antiques preferred
* Passion for fashion and eco-friendly
* Strong interpersonal/customer service skills
* Previous supervising experience preferred
* Previous customer service experience required
