Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Compile orders and instructions received from customers. Develop specific plans to prioritize. Organize tasks to accomplish the work. Oversee operational logistics of the organization. Plan and organize operational logistics of the organization. Revise type and quantity of materials required sent for production, construction and other projects. Track and complete work orders. Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments. Monitor movement of supplies and materials between departments. Perform routine clerical duties. Read blueprints, written specifications and production drawings. Prepare and submit reports. Arrange for maintenance and repair work. Ensure proper functioning of equipment. Maintain work records and logs. Organize warehouse and work areas. Perform general office duties. Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Recruit and hire staff. Co-ordinate activities with warehouse and production units. Co-ordinate traffic flow of supplies. Consult with production supervisor to schedule production runs in a cost and time-efficient manner. Monitor production progress. Project management. Provide customer service. Train workers in duties and policies. Conduct performance reviews. Co-ordinate, assign and review work. Communicate with ships, aircraft and other remote operations. Follow-up on issues with work orders. Keep track of shipments. Knowledge of highway trucking and associated rules and regulations. Operate radio equipment. Process and transmit information and instructions to co-ordinate the activities of vehicle operators and crews using dispatching equipment. Record mileage, fuel use, repairs and other expenses. Schedule assignments and co-ordinate activities of vehicle operators, crews and equipment. Organize and maintain inventory. Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year.
