Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Painters to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both residential and commercial Painting, and possess expertise in using power tools and working with drywall. The Painter will be responsible for executing painting projects efficiently and with high quality. Responsibilities: - Prepare surfaces for painting such as scraping, sanding, and filling holes - Apply paint or other finishes to various surfaces using brushes, rollers, or sprayers - Follow schematics or instructions to determine the sequence of painting tasks - Operate and maintain painting equipment and tools - Communicate effectively with team members to ensure project completion on time - Perform touch-ups or repairs as needed - Build and rig scaffolding for hard-to-reach areas Requirements: - Proven experience as a Painter in both residential and commercial settings - Proficiency in using power tools relevant to painting tasks - Strong knowledge of drywall preparation and repair techniques - Excellent customer service skills to interact with clients professionally - Ability to work independently or as part of a team - Attention to detail and quality craftsmanship in all work performed Job Type: Full-time Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 ? 50 per week Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Supplemental pay types: * Bonus pay * Tips Experience: * painting: 1 year (preferred) Licence/Certification: * Driving Licence (required) Work Location: In person Expected start date: 2024-05-15- LocationLondon, ON
