Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Tasks: Apply fertilizers. Clean the crops. Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens and other work areas. Cut agricultural crops. Cut agricultural seed according to farm standards. Divide fresh harvested produce into marketable lots and non-marketable lots. Grade vegetables and fruits into different grades according to the size, shape, colour and volume to fetch high price in market.. Greenhouse cleaning. Hand harvesting vegetables. Harvest seedlings. Mixing fertilizer. Monitor water lines, air flow and temperature in barns. Pack fruits and vegetables. Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops. Sort fruits and vegetables. Train trees to produce more fruit of higher quality. Weeding. Fertilize and spray crops. Harvest crops. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Examine product for quality and its readiness for the market. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently. Repetitive tasks. Combination of sitting, standing, walking.
