Principal : Jason PinoContinuing Education - 2024-2025 Night School Teacher - Dual Credit Support Teacher <p>DUAL CREDIT SUPPORT TEACHER <p>NIGHT SCHOOL <p>Required: One dual credit teacher to support secondary dual credit students <p>Full Year<p>Delivery: Night school model<p>Time: 4-8 pm<p>Campus: Barrie Campus<p>Course dates: Wednesdays, September June (2024-2025)<p>Course length: 36 weeks <p>Dual Credit Teacher Duties: Attend each dual credit class<p> Troubleshoot and problem solve issues related to dual credit student transportation <p> Track attendance and academic progress. <p> Meet with students regularly to monitor their academic progress and implement interventions, as required <p> Liaise with the secondary and post-secondary institutions to ensure that students have access to the range of supports and services they require to be successful <p> Schedule student support visits to home schools <p> Co-ordinate the exchange of academic progress information (marks and attendance) between the post-secondary institution and the secondary school to support student success<p> Assist students with the effective use of the Blackboard Learning Management System. <p> Provide student progress reports to partner boards where applicable<p> Complete and submit provincial dual credit data report <p> Organize course completion celebration in collaboration with partner boards<p> Attend Dual Credit Teachers Forum Required qualifications: Senior qualification Preferred qualifications: Guidance Part 1 or Special Education, Part 1Important Dates: <p>One week post course finish: provincial data report due<p>We thank all applicants for their interest in this position and advise that only those candidates selected for an interview will be contacted regarding this posting.
